Meet the Owner

Leigh Warner, chef/owner, has always tried hard to stay creative, fresh, hip (as well as honest) to continue tantalizing people's taste buds and blowing peoples mind's with her innovative pizza and pub style creations for over 11 years. She first started in the pizza industry as a delivery driver, at 24 years old and that grew into restaurant management, and eventually cooking, under authentic east coast pizzerias, absorbing all there is to know about operating her own business. In 2015, she opened her first kitchen for a small bar owner, then by the suggestion of her then wife Lori, she opened her first food truck with the name "Slice of Italeigh" and 4 years later opened a brick n mortar with the same name in downtown Martinez, CA.

After surviving the "covid years" stress and pain management took it's toll. In 2023 Leigh decided to take move to mountainous Payson, AZ, 80 miles northeast of Phoenix and acquired yet another food truck. This time concentrating on Philly Style Cheesesteaks until in 2025 she fell ill and found out she had NET cancer. After life saving surgery, she knew she needed to come back home to the SF Bay Area and continue the food journey!
