Meet the Owner

Leigh Warner, chef/owner, has always tried hard to stay creative, fresh, hip (as well as honest) to continue tantalizing people's taste buds and blowing peoples mind's with her innovative pizza and pub style creations for nearly 10 years. She started in the pizza industry as a delivery driver, grew into management, then went onto cooking, under Italian pizzerias & east coast chefs, absorbing and learning everything to eventually start her own business. In 2015, she opened her first kitchen for someone else, then by the suggestion of her then wife, she opened her own food truck (Slice of Italeigh) and 4 wonderful years later opened a brick n mortar to great success in downtown Martinez, CA.

After surviving the "covid years" Stress and pain management took it's toll. In 2023 Leigh decided to take a slight respite from the food industry and moved to mountainous Payson, AZ, 80 miles north east of Phoenix. After a few boring months off, she dreamed of having another food truck and quickly acquired a nice little food trailer. After two successful seasons of doing Philly Style Cheesesteaks to her new audience, she realized she needed passion and creativity back in her life.

A lot of people ask why is it spelled differently??? Because her name is leigh and she insists on making sure people know that she is truly the invested in what she creates and serves to the public.
